Shipping & Delivery Policy

Last updated: August 2026

This policy explains how items and services are delivered on ABU Campuswave. Because ABU Campuswaveoffers both digital services and a peer‑to‑peer student Marketplace, delivery works differently depending on what is being provided.

1. Digital services (delivered instantly)

Premium subscriptions and advertising campaigns are digital services delivered electronically. There is no physical shipment. Access is activated automatically as soon as your payment is confirmed:

  • Premium subscription — premium features are unlocked on your account immediately after payment.
  • Ad campaigns — approved campaigns begin serving in the feed once activated.

If a digital service is not activated within a few minutes of a successful payment, contact support@wavesocial.com.ng with your payment reference and we will resolve it.

2. Marketplace items (arranged between buyer and seller)

The ABU Campuswave Marketplace is a listings and messaging service only. ABU Campuswave does not ship goods, does not operate a fulfilment centre, does not hold or handle any items, and does not process payment for Marketplace goods. All physical items are delivered directly between the student seller and the buyer.

  • Buyers and sellers connect through in‑app messaging and agree between themselves on the method of delivery — most commonly in‑person handover on campus.
  • Delivery timelines, shipping/logistics costs (if any), and hand‑over arrangements are set by the seller and buyer, not by ABU Campuswave.
  • We strongly recommend meeting in safe, public locations on campus and confirming the item before completing any payment directly with the seller.

3. ABU Campuswave's role

ABU Campuswave provides the platform that lets students discover listings and communicate. We are not a party to Marketplace sales and do not guarantee the delivery, quality, condition, or legality of items sold by users. Responsibility for fulfilling a sale rests entirely with the seller and buyer involved.

4. Problems with a delivery

For digital services, contact us and we will investigate any activation issue. For Marketplace items, buyers and sellers should first resolve delivery issues directly with each other. If a user behaves fraudulently or breaches our Acceptable Use Policy, report them in‑app or at support@wavesocial.com.ng and we may suspend the account and take further action.
